Job Purpose

  • To be responsible for optimizing the finance approval journeys through effective credit assessment scorecards and automated processes identifying the associated credit risks with the portfolio.

Key Result Areas

  • Define, build and configure SAS- DMS / BRM (Business Rules Manager) to automate business policies by arranging the business logics into SAS-BRM Rules.
  • Creating/updating of variables & terms from vocabulary in systems to business rule configuration.
  • Work with policy managers to support and create Rule Harvesting Workbook.
  • Create and segregate the raw inputs, derived inputs and outputs for mapping with business parameters.
  • Preparing the SQL logic for new derived variables, terms and code for variable creation in coding layer.
  • Creating, updating and identifying the data mapping between DIB systems and SAS using SAS Code and of XML mappings.
  • Preparing the UAT test case scenarios and updating in ALM system and identifying the root cause and fixing the issues highlighted during the UAT.
  • Preparing the RFC for Production deployment. Handling Post Go live issues in coordination with IT and business.
  • Liaise with Scorecard Modeling Manager to configure the models within the SAS modules for real time decisions.
  • Automating the MIS Decks using SAS / Netezza/ DB2/SQL to ensure portfolio quality assurance and integrity of data.
  • Producing Retail scorecard related MIS for management to monitor retail portfolio performance and Support risk managers in providing timely reports to different areas within Risk management.
  • Co-ordinate with business management, credit underwriting, collections and other related functions to drive use, monitor overrides, analyze new requirements and providing detailed feedback on enhancements and/or improvements on the suggested business rules to make the system more efficient.
  • All the above accountabilities include but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Having 3 to 4 years of credit automation experience or I.T with SQL or SAS background.
