Job Purpose

  • Responsible for the overall direction and management of Direct Business Channel (DBC) related projects.
  • fully responsible for Voice support and layout including Dialer layout and structure across UAE and all other Mashreq Global Network (MGN) locations.
  • fully responsible for projects controls and compliance in line with bank policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for working with Head of DBC to ensure all RBG URFs are prioritized and completed on time.
  • Ensure that all DBC related UATs for system enhancements are done on time. Central point of contact for any system failures which may impact working of DBC normally.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all projects , processes are in line with banking / central bank rules and regulations and ensure 100% compliance to policies.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time. Will escalate to Head DBC in case of any foreseen delays.
  • Having sensitive compliance/risk implications.
  • E2E ownership of all DBC voice and Dialer infra, upgrades, maintenance and trouble shooting.
  • Collate User Requirements and assist in developing product specifications based on stake holders for requirements, and ensure same is fully complied with banking policies and regulation and in line with central bank regulations.
  • liaise with concerned vendors to ensure smooth voice and dialer implementation across all UAE & MGN locations.
  • perform regular processes reviews to ensure the the same is in full compliance to banks controls requirements.
  • Lead all UATs of DBC and ensure that they are completed on time and in fully compliance to bank's processes and requlation.
  • Incumbent will handle the most sensitive and complex projects for DBC.
  • Interaction with multiple disciplinary teams and senior Management in various departments.
  • Liaise with Digital squads and provide all relative info / Data to enhance DBC digitization and overcome obstacles faced by DBC staff, which will positively impact DBC productivity and revenue.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • A min of 8 years of experience in related banking field or exceptional in another field, incorporating projects, controls and compliance, analysis, and leadership responsibilities. voice / dialer experience is an added value.
  • A keen sense of observation and analytical mind to understand processes and suggest effective changes which are fully in compliance to banks / central bank regulations and controls.
  • Good problem handling and people management skills.
  • Having project management skills to manage cross functional teams and stakeholders representing different units of an organization.
  • Should have experience in managing teams.
  • expert in Banking operations, compliance and controls, processes and process development, sales and support environment with strong customer focus.
  • Coaching, mentoring and training experience.
