Job Responsibilities
- Cover T2 customers across Primary & Secondary in liquid and illiquid Credit products.
- Expand Citi’s products and market share with German and Austrian customers in IG and EM Flow Credit.
- Analyse market and customer requirements – find and propose trade & relative value ideas.
- Active and single-handed customer acquisition & on-boarding of new clients.
- Work with Credit Trading across all currency desks to support customers holistically as required.
- Send regular Investor feedback to Trading and Syndicate representatives.
- Actively prepare content for morning meetings and present market updates/ share idea opportunities.
- Share German Investor Feedback in regular Calls with Trading.
- Take responsibility for on-boarding clients for derivative trading, grow Citi’s Market Share in CDS & Options.
- Achieve annual CV production of 5-10mn USD.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Experience in Credit Markets within a client facing sales role.
- Candidate must have strong sales, financial, and execution skills.
- German and English fluency (written and spoken) is essential.
- Deep understanding of regulatory framework.
- Thorough knowledge of clients, fixed income markets and products, ideally Credit background.
- Strong knowledge in capital markets.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills necessary to work in a collaborative environment.
- Can work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Responsible, committed and self-motivated.
- Highly accurate, analytical worker with high level of attention to customer and to detail.
- Able to organize own work, manage own time and work.
- Proactive attitude and good skills to build client relationships.
- Understanding Investment triggers at clients and product suitability.
- University degree (or equivalent) and experience in financial markets.
