Job Purpose

  • To develop & execute sales plans, build/leverage key relationships / segments in order to maximize market share of the bank and deliver channel sales targets for Insurance.
  • Streamlining Insurance Specialists/Sr Insurance specialist within the channel to deploy a structured sales approach for End to End and Referral Based Sales in their respective regions.
  • The role also bridges the Insurance Specialists/Sr Insurance specialist with internal stakeholders such as Product Managers, Operations, Private Banking/Mashreq Gold and Marketing to enhance sales fulfillment for insurance.

Major Responsibilities

  • To achieve monthly sales targets of Insurance by driving the teams & individuals towards their assigned KPIs.
  • To closely monitor sales gaps and do a regular gap analysis with staff – coach and up skill them on products, sales techniques, presentation skills and analysis & identify appropriate training programs
  • To ensure 100% lead records are maintained and status updated om CRM.
  • To check product suitability and affordability of applicable case.
  • Drive and implement insurance sales strategy in accordance with the Bancassurance model and enhance the brand and image of the Bank in the insurance product proposition.
  • To ensure headcount plan is maintained through the year by managing attrition & timely recruitment of staff.
  • Ensure associate Teams/Branches achieves all KPI and KPA standards besides monthly financial targets.
  • Provide regular market feedback to the management to improve the quality performance and competitiveness of the bank’s products and services.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 – 8 years of proven background in financial industry with a Min 5 year’s experience in Life Insurance business.
  • Sales Management and Local Area Marketing Skills.
  • Strong Training Skills to deliver trainings multi-role/segment audience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM, and Bank/Insurance Systems.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Marketing/business degree and/or equivalent professional qualification.
