Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- As a core and senior member of the leadership team, you will actively contribute to the overall Trade Finance strategy of the bank.
- Consistently meet overall sales targets as well as asset and return targets by driving high activity sales calling by the sales team, and making focused efforts on high potential segments and names.
- Work within the policy and procedural framework, and ensure that your knowledge and understanding of these policies and procedures are up to date at all times.
- Analyze risk factors and arrange for the appropriate type of amendment whenever it is required.
- Drive revenue realization and monitor facility utilization, help remove client roadblocks for the trade sales team to achieve utilization, and monitor overall revenue growth across segments and trade products.
- Identify product innovation opportunities and address product gaps together with the Product Management Team through regular client interactions.
- Review issuance and amendments of all Trade Finance products.
- Leverage team capabilities and develop strong working relationships with all stakeholders across various verticals to leverage skills and knowledge, as well as support origination and referrals across key sales corridors.
- Capability to collaborate with the internal stakeholders in overseeing and driving client focus and quality initiatives.
- Proficiency in monitoring client satisfaction and service levels to ensure best-in-class service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of Trade Finance-related banking experience (local market experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of all trade products (ideally those offered by a global or large regional bank).
- Thorough knowledge of International Trade Practices.
- Strong understanding of credit risk and risk mitigants.
