JOB PURPOSE
- To provide the required support and assistance to the Operational Risk Managers in the implementation and execution of the Operational Risk framework and policies, in order to ensure operational risks are managed within agreed parameters.
Accountabilities and Key Roles
- Support in the implementation of the operational risk framework.
- Conduct testing of business continuity plans and key controls to ensure effective operation of plans.
- Coordinate the submission and consolidation of data from business units.
- Provide input in to management reports to keep internal stakeholder apprised of the status of operational risk.
- Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions.
- Manage self in line with the bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance.
- Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in an operational risk environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Knowledge and Skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Analytical skills.
