Job Responsibilities
- You assess business transactions according to HGB and IFRS and develop technical specifications for their presentation in the balance sheet.
- By working on implementation projects, you will be involved in the implementation of new accounting standards according to HGB and IFRS.
- They implement new standards for sustainability reporting (ESRS, Taxonomy Ordinance), create technical concepts, monitor legal changes and coordinate with auditors.
- If you have the appropriate experience, you will take on sub-project management, e.g. in our ESG project or IFRS implementation project.
- You assume a thought leadership role by observing developments in the field of accounting law and sustainability/ESG reporting and deriving the implications for the bank.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- You have completed an economics degree with above-average success and have professional experience in a company, bank or auditing firm.
- Further qualifications show your interest in these subject areas.
- You have gained experience in accounting according to IFRS and HGB, preferably in a company in the financial industry, an auditing company or in the university sector.
- You have a professional interest in sustainability reporting issues.
- Experience in managing projects will help you to implement new regulatory requirements.
- You are self-assured, bring a high level of commitment, initiative and flexibility, and enjoy methodically developing questions of sustainability reporting and related issues.
- The task requires good communication skills and the establishment of a functioning network in the bank.
