Job Responsibilities

  • As part of the "SCM+" team, you will be responsible for the provision and further development of the source code management as well as for the build and deployment mechanisms (SCMBD) for the application development of KfW.
  • In particular, you will accompany the development and expansion of the CI/CD solution in the cloud and for hybrid scenarios based on common technologies for source code management, build and deployment (including Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus).
  • Another part of the activity is the realization and further development of a modern and scalable solution "cloud developer workplace".
  • They support the further development of the SCM strategy. 
  • The development and maintenance of tools and methods for application development in a heterogeneous overall system with various technology stacks is of central importance.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Completed degree in IT and telecommunications, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in the MS Azure Cloud or Java/Web environment.
  • Practical experience with public/enterprise cloud platforms and container technologies (MS Azure, Kubernetes, Openshift).
  • You have specialist knowledge of source code management systems (in particular GIT, Jenkins, Nexus or Azure DevOps) and the cloud-native development developer toolstack with a focus on MS Azure.
  • Ideally, you have a solid knowledge of application development and the relevant programming languages ​​(Java, Spring MVC and Boot, JavaScript, Python).
  • German and English as communication languages ​​complete your profile.
