Job Purpose

  • An essential part of the job of the candidate (m/f/d), will be the technical support of colleagues from the front office with regard to KYC-relevant topics and questions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Carrying out reviews of newly submitted customer relationships (onboarding management) and existing customer relationships (CFR) with regard to legally required documents, documentation and internal requirements.
  • Conducting KYC/KYT, Source of Wealth and Source of Fund checks.
  • Documentation of customer information, including web research and adverse media screenings.
  • Control of existing and new customer documents (contracts, WpHG sheets, FATCA, CRS, identification documents, etc.) including completeness, data and plausibility check.
  • Obtaining, requesting and monitoring supplementary documentation/documents.
  • Support of the front office (consultants/assistants) with regard to legally relevant issues, both as part of the onboarding process and for periodic reviews.
  • Support in the preparation of customer documents and participation in customer appointments in complex constellations.
  • Creation of practicable work templates and summaries.
  • Point of contact to internal departments such as compliance, the legal department, internal/external auditors, data protection, cross-border, business support, risk.
  • Participation, organization and documentation of the Client Acceptance Committee.
  • Processing of garnishments and other locks / disposition-relevant constellations.
  • Support of compliance functions with reviews and implementation of AML risk scoring.
  • Support and independent implementation of legal changes, accompany projects and comply with group standards.
  • Documentation of KPIs / KRIs and data collection in the core banking system.

Qualifications

  • Bank apprenticeship (m/f/d)
  • Basic knowledge and experience in the area of ​​regulatory requirements (reports/queries BZSt, account evidence center, MiFID, etc.)
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in handling onboardings or client file reviews (KYC/KYT) in the financial sector
  • Gladly a basic legal education / relevant experience
  • Experience in the implementation / support in the introduction of projects or innovations (including regulatory relevant innovations)
  • Ability to work in an international group with different regulations and cultures
