Job Purpose

  • As a Project Manager and member of the IT team in charge of user and application infrastructure at Société Générale Frankfurt, you will provide our business end users a professional IT working environment. 
  • This environment includes banking business infrastructure and applications with highest requirements to performance and availabilty. 
  • Besides the local tasks you will also be working with a large worldwide IT team to participate in global IT Infrastructure projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the local business requirements and processes implementation together with international teams in the context of projects (f.ex. automate the purchase process).
  • Ability to gain deep understanding on business operational processes and liaise with technical teams.
  • Assist application owners in the branch on their IT infrastructure needs.
  • Propose improvements of processes while considering the inputs received from the different cross location teams.
  • Conduct project reviews and create reports for the management.
  • Manage escalated support cases and lead appropriate internal technical resources and/or 3rd party vendors to resolution.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economic or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge in IT Infrastructure.
  • Several years’ experience as a Project Manager working on process optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Good exposure to IT processes.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work on international complex projects.
  • Ability to work productively in cross-functional teams or resourcefully and independently as an individual.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • You have a particular openness, and you are eager to communicate with a various range of stakeholders in a multinational cultural environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English.
