Assistant Manager - Credit Retail

Job Purpose

  • To provide retail lending / Financing facilities to EI clients, as per EI policy and as per EI lending delegation authorities. 
  • The aforesaid Assistant Manager has the required experience and underwriting judgment capabilities to provide an accurate and proper decision towards retail Lending / Financing applications submitted by EI customers. 
  • In addition to supporting and assisting EIRC Manager with day – to –day managerial tasks.

Job Responsibilities

  • To evaluate a fair share of day-to-day retail underwriting proposals above Tanfeeth limit received at EIRC end within the agreed TAT.
  • Reviewing Remedial proposals and according to decisions with the agreed TAT.
  • To ensure Employer evaluation is processed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner within the agreed TAT.
  • Maintaining a constant low error rate along with a satisfactory productivity level.
  • Highlight weak points related to process internally and at Tanfeeth level and work closely with unit manager to enhance process further.
  • Timely resolution of audit observations. Ensure meeting deadlines for all internal/external tasks and reporting.
  • Assess and implement any recommendations made by internal or external auditors and action as deemed appropriate by senior management of EI.
  • To review and assign Credit Delegation limit authority to RCO – UW’s as per the Analyst certification process.
  • Ensure compliance to policy / CB and highlight any issues.
  • Highlight any Errors and Process lapses and ensure appropriate controls are implemented.
  • To ensure effective resolution of all Customer Complaints from CX team and other tasks assigned within the stipulated time.
  • To action any issue escalated by internal customers or staff without any delay.
  • Innovate ideas to streamline systems & processes.
  • To assist the Unit Manager in smooth implementation of Projects which have been assigned.
  • Ability to train new staff without any difficulty.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Business Graduate with 5 years of experience in similar role.
  • Strong Knowledge of credit and financial analysis.
  • Should be process oriented with excellent analytical skills with eye skills with eye for detail.
  • Strong computer (especially MS Office) skills.
  • Flexible & Adaptable To Department Requirements.
  • Fluency In Spoken And Written English And Preferably Arabic.
  • Team Management skills & pro-active qualities with higher level of inter-personal skills.
