As a lead engineer, you support the business analysts with an eye for what is technically feasible in the evaluation of the technical requirements, e.g. in cooperation with the Digital Sales / Digital Marketing divisions, and you create technical specifications for the concrete, requirement-specific implementations, which you then implement yourself or in the hands of an implementation team.
In your role as lead engineer, you also interact with the DevOps team, which acts as part of the implementation team, and ensure a collaborative implementation of the technical specifications you have created.
You are in regular contact with other senior engineers and developers of the Customer Analytics Tribe and actively participate in the further development of these other engineers and developers within Customer Analytics.

University degree in computer science / business informatics (or comparable) or comparable training and at least five years of professional experience in development.
Very good knowledge of web technologies, especially in the development of JavaScript, also with the ability to create JavaScript code for the backend using appropriate frameworks.
Good knowledge of the Adobe product suite: Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch and Adobe AEM (Content Management as a Managed Service) highly desirable, ideally with relevant certifications.
Good knowledge and experience in the configuration and use of web servers, e.g. Apache http server, is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methods for working with agile teams and product owners and enjoy helping to shape new tasks and processes; Can do mentality.
Clear and targeted communication skills (oral and written) across all levels of the organization in English and German.
