Job Responsibilities 

  • Work as part of our European Structuring Team and support the promotion of Open Account and structured propositions in GTRF to senior stakeholders in the Global Banking and Markets and Commercial Banking’s Corporate businesses to ensure a flow of origination and requests for proposals.
  • Personally and through others, holds and develops predominant technical expertise in Receivables Finance and Supply Chain Finance across geographies with understanding of trends and market development.
  • Lead the preparation and negotiation of customer facing documents and indicative term sheets.
  • Provide the detailed financial benefit analysis and supporting information for each customer request.
  • Ensure that distributed client material is accurate, reliable and provides Global Trade and Receivables Finance with the best pitch
  • Ensure that all pitch presentation considers the operational and regulatory impact in each geography as appropriate.
  • Provide detailed analysis of competitors’ market position on an ongoing basis.
  • Act as a conduit of information between sales, operations and product to allow for standard product documentation to be kept up to date.
  • Support specialized Open Account training for the sales and relationship management community.
  • Originate and share best practice.
  • Support the flow of Requests for Proposals, Proposals, and Deal Wins.
  • Achieve a step change in the profile and volume of Global Banking transactions in line with Organizational strategy enabling achievement of revenue and balance sheet performance.
  • Support the structuring of complex transactions across borders and currencies using a range of products and operational units.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • A successfully completed degree in economics and/or completed banking training or similar professional training with comparable further qualification.
  • Several years of experience in solutions structuring in trade finance and open account solutions.
  • Very good English and German language skills.
  • an independent, precise and structured way of working.
  • Very good communication skills and a result-oriented working style.
  • A high level of social skills and a pronounced customer and results orientation.
