Job Description

  • In this position, you will quickly acquire a clear understanding of the regulatory requirements for IT risk management, and work closely with the information security officer and IT operations from the central outsourcing management.

Job Responsibilities

  • You follow developments in the market for controlling and monitoring cloud providers and dealing with cyber risks. 
  • Together with the information security officer and the central outsourcing officer, you will implement the DORA requirements for central outsourcing management.
  • You are actively involved in the development of the IT specifications for the control and monitoring of our outsourcing, taking into account in particular the requirements for the service provider's IT in accordance with the bank's internal guidelines.
  • You advise the departments on the implementation of the specifications from the central outsourcing management.
  • You work closely with the so-called 2nd and 3rd line of defense (e.g. information security, data protection, BCM, OpRisk, compliance, internal control system ICS, auditing) as well as the internal departments of purchasing and law. 
  • You will also be involved in the meetings of the outsourcing committee.
  • You will be involved in the preparation of the reports on the outsourcing portfolio (e.g. annual report and regular reporting to the board, notifications in the outsourcing register).

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • As a basis, you bring a successfully completed university degree, preferably in business informatics (or a comparable qualification) or economics with an IT affinity.
  • Great interest in at least one of the following topics: IT, regulation, information security management, information risk management.
  • Ideally, you have initial experience in the banking or financial services sector - but this is not a requirement.
  • You are attracted by the mixture of IT process organisation, banking and regulatory tasks.
  • Structuring skills, very good communication skills and strong conceptual and analytical skills round off your profile.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English as well as routine handling of MS Office applications are a matter of course for you.
