Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annually Opex Management packs, MIS , forecasts & Board Submissions.
  • Review and Analyze major deviations from budgets and previous periods.
  • Evaluate and validate and further track savings from various Cost optimization initiatives as a part of Strategic Cost Management activity.
  • Review periodic accruals and releases to ensure accurate reporting of transactions and expenditure.
  • Prepare and review Indirect Cost allocation workings for financial reporting.
  • Liaise with Divisional heads for queries around Cost optimization targets and status updates
  • Effectively action actual and budget transfers.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Ability to handle and process large amounts of complex data and maintain confidentiality of certain critical information.
  • Ability to identify variation in solutions provided as against business requirement and process.
  • Ability to highlight any underlying issues in system, GL and process delays by monitoring the reports and providing resolution where applicable.
  • Ability to examine in detail real life end to end business scenarios. Make recommendations, propose appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively & efficiently through both verbal & written communication.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, evaluate information in order to make appropriate business decisions within applicable framework.
  • Ability to work under pressure involves dealing with constraints which are often outside your control like resource , tight timelines, complexity of task assigned.
