Role Purpose
- The capital market strategy is located in the "Chief Investment Office".
- The group is responsible for formulating an investment strategy for private clients.
- In addition, the capital market assessment for corporate customers is prepared.
Duties and responsibilities
- Deriving a market assessment for the stock, bond, foreign exchange and commodity markets (strategic and tactical) and formulating concrete recommendations for action for private and corporate customers.
- Additional use of external sources as preparation for the analysis, processing and communication of the house opinion with a focus on emerging markets and/or economic issues in industrialized countries.
- Independent analysis of news, research reports and markets in order to identify and formulate interesting/relevant topics/trends.
- Creation of own editorial contributions for newsletters including graphics, charts etc.
- Explanation of the current market situation including background and outlook on capital market topics for publication in various communication channels.
- Support in the creation of publications for private customers, corporate customers and consultants.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Good understanding of economic relationships (micro and macroeconomic) and capital markets (in theory and practice) and a high level of interest in socio-political issues, economic issues and developments on the global capital markets.
- Excellent ability to work conceptually and structured, problem-solving skills and well-founded analytical skills.
- A high degree of personal responsibility, flexibility when dealing with new topics and the ability to work flawlessly under time pressure.
- Team and contact skills, convincing demeanor and strong decision-making skills.
- Safe handling of MS Office and ideally knowledge of Bloomberg etc.
- Good verbal and especially written expression, strong communication skills and fluent language skills in German and English.
