Job Porpuse
- Within the Financing Group, the FICC Derivatives team, based in Frankfurt, are responsible for origination, structuring and execution of derivatives transactions in EMEA.
- The group interacts with members of the advisory team, other product teams and the sales desk on a daily basis, creating a dynamic and intense work environment.
- Investment Banking interns at Goldman Sachs gain exposure to the firm's businesses and expanded knowledge of the investment banking industry, as they develop key analytical, communications, marketing and sales skills.
- They create and analyse financial models, performing scenario analyses and tests to examine the effects of client alternatives.
- In addition, they organize and prepare presentations, which explain industry trends, discuss client options, and recommend strategies to meet client goals.
Job Description
The role involves exposure to a broad range of sectors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Involvement in transactions across the region.
- Live deal execution.
- Frequent interaction with other teams across Investment Baking and other divisions, locally as well as globally.
- Everyday contact with the public side to gather market feedback on specific companies and sectors.
