Digital Product Lead

The entire Corporate Banking platform is undergoing a transformation exercise with the aim to positively disrupt the client approach in its core markets of UAE and other international locations. Data analytics shall be at the core of this journey.
The Proxy Product Owner shall be spearheading the data integration efforts across the entire platform and be responsible for developing a roadmap for the data driven objectives of the corporate bank.
Execute the AA vison, convey it to the Scrum team, and collaborate with internal stakeholders, development team, and leads the internal AA Center of Excellence (CoE).
CoE objective is to institutionalize commercial best practices and customer insights with help of analytics in order to increase revenues, operational efficiency and time to market.
Drive a strategy that will transform the corporate bank to a true data driven bank – embed AA in the DNA and run 5-10 use cases successfully applying analytics at scale.

Responsible to deliver the roadmap and project execution, commercialization, adoption and targets.
Responsible for backlog management and stakeholder management as well as the delivery and operationalization of specific use cases.
Works across business, analytics and IT to ensure the development and delivery of analytical solutions.
Acts as co-steward of the AA CoE across the business formulating new use cases, driving opportunity creation, aligning efforts to business value and creating AA use case roadmaps.
In addition to advanced analytics use cases (predictive), supports stakeholders by leading on developing prescriptive analytics and reporting use cases.
Acts as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders from AA project inception through completion.
Develops project schedules, coordinates project status meetings, manages resources throughout the project life cycle.
Makes information more accessible by standardizing reporting, creating business dashboards, automation of data.

BS/MS degree or equivalent in related field (Engineering, IT, Computer Science); MBA degree a plus.
3-4 years managing teams working with advanced data management, data processing, and data science related exploration of data to create insights that drive business decisioning.
10+ years related experience (including managerial roles in fast paced environments).
Excellent business sense, high degree of curiosity and strong problem-solving skills, eye for detail.
Knowledge of banking markets and products, segmentation.
Experience with current concepts in project risk assessment, metrics generation and analysis and risk management. Requires knowledge of underlying platform(s).
