Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new functionality on Java and optionally Kotlin.
  • Work with the business and BAs on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Design and setup test automation approaches from scratch and improve existing processes/approaches together with QA team.
  • Investigate and fix production incidents, drive stability and monitoring improvements.
  • Design and implement subsystems and intersystem protocols, contribute to the longer-term platform architectural vision.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • In-depth work experience and excellent knowledge of Java and Kotlin as a nice to have.
  • Proven track record in high-load distributed system design and fault tolerant applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of algorithms, complexity, data structures.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases, good knowledge of Linux.
  • Experience with modern SDLC tools - Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity is a plus.
