Job Porpuse

  • Support the local regulatory reporting for the Broker dealer entity in Germany.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate local regulatory reporting (COREP; FINREP, Statistical Reports) for Germany entities.
  • Daily coordination with the service center in Budapest supporting local German regulatory group.
  • Coordination of projects and change-initiatives for the local German regulatory reporting group.
  • Ensure overall efficient and targeted reporting, identify process improvements & drive re-engineering initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of all reporting requirements in a timely and accurate reporting for German Broker Dealer Entitie (COREP; FINREP, etc).
  • Drive change process by ensuring further technical improvements and high-quality deliveries from the Solution centers.
  • Contact for questions arising from regulators around regulatory reporting (ECB, Bundesbank & BaFin) related to the Bank Chain Entities.
  • Work with external and internal auditors for all regulatory related queries.
  • Interact with International teams on regulatory reporting to ensure knowledge transfer in all directions Business owner for local regulatory systems (ABACUS DaVinci/360).

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • Bachelors’ degree from Finance.
  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent financial background.
  • MBA or Professional Degree an advantage.
  • Strong ability to negotiate and influence.
  • Ability to develop innovative, yet pragmatic solutions and approaches that "fit" the environment.
  • Information gathering, organization & analytics.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Team player and very good interactive communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills are essential.
  • A pro-active decision maker who has the ability to champion Finance initiatives to successful conclusion.
  • In depth technical knowledge of German regulatory reporting requirements as well as applicable regulation i.e. CRR, CRR2 and Basel Accords.
  • Experience in dealing with regulators i.e. BaFin, Bundesbank, ECB, SRB as well as external auditors.
  • In depth knowledge of Recovery & Resolution requirements or capital planning processes.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Very good analytical and technical skills.
  • Fluent in German and English in both speech and writing.
  • Practical experience with Finance processes.
  • Understanding of US and local accounting principles.
  • Multinational experience would be an advantage.
  • Able to influence and support senior management decision making.
  • Work within a dynamic environment being able to anticipate and respond to new events.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, able to coordinate and manage across multiple deliverables.
